If I only had 24 hours in Milan, here’s exactly how I would spend it—and trust me, I’m packing in all the best bits, so buckle up!
1. Start Your Day at the TikTok Viral Spa: QCTermemilano
First stop, the ultimate Milanese indulgence: QCTermemilano. This spa is a TikTok viral sensation and it’s easy to see why. Imagine unwinding in a stunning rain room, sitting in a sauna inside an old tram, and soaking in outdoor hot pools. Honestly, it’s a little slice of luxury in the middle of the city— perfect for when you need to relax and recharge before hitting the sights.
Top Tip: Get to the spa first thing when it opens when it’s quieter and more tranquil. You’ll be able to enjoy all of the spa and relaxation rooms in peace and while you could easily spend a day here, if you only have 24hours you want to be out by noon.

2. Gluten-Free Heaven at Bebop Restaurant
After you’ve been pampered, it’s time to eat—and you know I’ve got gluten-free covered! Head straight to Bebop Restaurant, where they have a completely separate gluten-free kitchen. The best part? They can duplicate anything on the menu to be gluten-free, so there’s no missing out.
Top tip: order the Milanese cutlet, an authentic local dish. It’s crispy, tender, and probably the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten. I’m not exaggerating here. Pair it with their gluten-free tiramisu – it’s a must-try. You’ll be set for the day after this feast.
And don’t forget to grab a coffee for that pick-me-up because it’s a long day ahead!

3. Visit the Iconic Duomo
Next stop, the Duomo—the heart of Milan and honestly, an architectural wonder. Built over six centuries, the detail on this cathedral will leave you speechless. Climb up to the roof (don’t worry, there’s a lift if you’re not up for the stairs), and enjoy breathtaking views of the city.

4. Shopping at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Just a stone’s throw away is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s oldest shopping mall. But this isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a historic landmark. Built in 1867, it’s all marble floors and vaulted glass ceilings, a real nod to Milan’s elegance.
While you’re there, don’t forget to find the mosaic of the bull and spin around three times on its testicles. Yep, you heard me. I don’t make the rules, but apparently, it’s good luck—and I’ll take all the luck I can get!

5. Hop on the Vintage No. 1 Tram
For a truly unique experience, hop on the vintage No. 1 tram. As a vintage lover I ADORED this tram – it even had art deco style glass ceiling lights! It feels like it’s been stuck in time with its old wooden seats and retro vibes. Riding this tram is more than just transport—it’s like traveling back to another era.

6. Stroll the Navigli Canals
The no1 tram will take you to the Navigli canals where you can go for a peaceful walk along the water. Browse the cute shops and cafés, or just soak up the atmosphere. If you’re hungry again (because why not?), grab a slice of gluten-free pizza at Spontini. This is exceptionally exciting for gluten free travellers because they sell pizza by the slice – this is practically unheard of!

7. End Your Night with Drinks at Terrazza 21
Finally, make your way back to the Duomo to catch it all lit up at night—the perfect photo op. From there, head to Terrazza 21 for rooftop drinks with a stunning view of the Duomo. Yes, the drinks are a bit pricey, but they come with free sushi and snacks, and let’s be honest—the view is worth every penny. If you are only spending 24hrs in Milan, finishing your night here will have you conveniently located to the metro station so you can get back to the airport.

That’s how I’d spend 24 hours in Milan—gluten-free, fabulously dressed, and enjoying some well deserved R&R. Whether you’re in it for the food, the sights, or the spa, this itinerary will have you loving Milan as much as I do!
